Summary

Makes this repo the cookiecutter sources and their rendered templates. Components v2 is the recommended path; v1 stays as the legacy template.

• Removes examples/ (CustomDataframe, MaterialLogin, RadioButton), the v1 Playwright end-to-end suites, the Docker image, and the CI that built wheels against an unreleased streamlit-component-lib.
• CI now builds the four template frontends with Vite on Node 24, and checks that templates/ still matches the cookiecutter sources.
• Drops vendored Bootstrap and unused Create React App fields from the v1 frontend. v1 still starts the Vite dev server with npm run start, which the v1 docs use. v2 keeps npm run dev (vite build --watch) and npm run build for production, matching the package-based components docs.
• Aligns the v2 wrapper and README with the current component API: data and setStateValue, default paired with on_<key>_change, and a dev loop of Vite build, uv pip install -e ., then streamlit run example.py.
• Updates the repo README and contributing guide to use uv and Python 3.13, and to point new components at Components v2.

Test plan

• ./dev.py templates-check-not-modified passes for all four replay files (cookiecutter 2.2.2)
• ./dev.py all-npm-install and ./dev.py all-npm-build succeed on Node 24 for both v1 and both v2 templates
• Generate a v2 project with uvx --from cookiecutter cookiecutter gh:streamlit/component-template --directory cookiecutter/v2 and run the README dev loop
• Confirm a v1 template still starts with npm run start from my_component/frontend
