Description
Blurt is free, open-source (MIT) dictation for macOS, written in Swift (SwiftUI + AppKit): hold a key, talk, and polished text lands in whatever app you're typing in. Speech-to-text is powered by AssemblyAI; you bring your own AssemblyAI API key. There's no subscription and no account. It runs on macOS 15+ on Intel and Apple Silicon, and the release DMG is signed and notarized.
Disclosure: I work at AssemblyAI, the company that makes Blurt.
This PR has been updated: the entry now points to the canonical

Awesome macOS open source applications(optional)It's a native, MIT-licensed macOS dictation app that works in any text field.
