…ugin The Media Proxy relays UDP media between clients, negotiated using the non-standard 'http://www.jivesoftware.com/protocol/rtpbridge' namespace, which was never published as a XEP. The only known clients of that protocol are the legacy Jingle implementation of Smack (smack-jingle-old) and the Jingle plugin for Spark, which is no longer being built. The code is removed from Openfire, and is made available as the RTP Bridge plugin instead. That plugin uses the same 'mediaproxy.*' properties, so that existing configuration remains effective when the plugin is installed. When the 'mediaproxy.enabled' property is set while that plugin is not installed, Openfire logs a warning after it has loaded its plugins. The 'Media Services' group in the Admin Console sidebar is retained, as plugins add their pages to it.

Run the warning check after first-time setup.
When setup finishes, finishSetup() starts the modules and scans system properties, but it does not call warnIfRemovedMediaProxyIsEnabled(). If mediaproxy.enabled was configured before setup, the server gives no missing-plugin warning until its next restart. Call the check from the setup-completion path too. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Identify the RTP Bridge plugin by its declared name.
If an operator installs the RTP Bridge archive under a different filename, getPluginByCanonicalName("rtpbridge") returns empty even when the plugin is loaded. The server then prints an incorrect missing-plugin warning. Use getPluginByName("RTP Bridge"), which does not depend on the archive filename. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
