Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
  • I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

The automation appears to run correctly, but the trace timeline fails to describe the conditions.
Every condition in this if block, including the nested state conditions and their entity_id entries, shows the error. The same condition types in the choose option's conditions earlier in the same run are described without error.

Action in the automation:

if:
  - condition: or
    conditions:
      - condition: state
        entity_id: switch.s_l2_livingroom_lr_accent
        state: 'off'
      - condition: state
        entity_id: light.living_room_accent_color
        state: 'off'
then:
  - action: switch.turn_on
    target:
      entity_id: switch.s_l2_livingroom_lr_accent

Trace output (excerpt):

if/condition/0
Error in describing condition: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'includes')
Result: result: false
if/condition/0/conditions/0/entity_id/0
Error in describing condition: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'includes')
Result: result: false, state: 'on', wanted_state: 'off'

Perhaps this is similar to an earlier report for triggers: #29585 (closed)?

Describe the behavior you expected

Trace timeline would provide a proper description and not indicate an error.

Steps to reproduce the issue
